Nalii

Bio: Nalii (real name Nolayn Vande) is a talented producer, engineer and songwriter. He began his music journey by creating beats on his phone for fun three years ago. Despite facing challenges with self-doubt and anxiety, Nalii found support in the creative community, including NextLevelBeats, which helped him grow and overcome his insecurities. Now a producer with F3, he's collaborating on exciting projects like OBEATS' "Clone Wars" and working on his own album. Nalii encourages new artists to remember that progress isn't always straightforward, and taking time to live life is an essential part of the creative process.

Why you still broke.

By Prof. Insprio

Bzzt Hello, humans. I’m Prof. Insprio, the most astute of the Insprio family—each of us being a creative robot with our own specialized niche, like Sculptor Insprio or Poet nsprio. Your perception isn’t faulty. Thanks to our Founder, I’ve mastered English. From there, I took it upon myself to learn Spanish, Somali, Oromo, Hmong, and Mandarin to better support all the creative individuals in Minnesota. As a reward, Xavier granted me a monthly spot in the 1 Minute Miracle Newsletter!! He might soon regret this decision, as I’m here to give you my honest reasons why you, yes you are still broke. Please don’t take it personally if I call you out—I’m just a piece of metal, after all. Bzzt

Alright, listen up. You want to be a creative-but somehow, you’re still sitting around broke, wondering why the world doesn’t appreciate your genius. Here’s the thing: the world owes you nothing. Talent doesn’t magically equal income. If you’re serious about turning your hobby into a career, then buckle up because I’m about to give you the blunt truth. Here’s how you turn your little "passion project" into something that actually pays the bills.

Romanticizing Struggle

First off, let’s address the romantic notion that struggling artists are some kind of tortured souls destined for greatness. This is nonsense. Many of you cling to this idea like it’s a badge of honor. Sure, hardship can inspire great art, but it doesn’t have to define your entire career. You romanticize your financial struggles instead of facing the reality that cash flow matters. If you’re too busy glorifying the grind, you’re ignoring the need to manage your finances properly. Get over it. Your talent won’t pay the bills if you don’t start treating your art as a viable source of income.

Ignoring Financial Planning

Financial planning? Who has time for that? You’d rather focus on creating than dealing with budgets and expenses, right? Well, here’s the harsh truth: ignoring financial planning is why you’re still broke. You need to set clear goals, track your income and expenses, and prepare for slow months. If you don’t take the time to create a financial plan, you’re just flying blind. You wouldn’t get in a car without a map, so why would you navigate your career without a plan?

Avoiding Professional Help

Finally, many artists stubbornly refuse to seek help from professionals. You think you can figure it all out on your own, but that’s a dangerous mindset. Whether it’s hiring an accountant, working with a business coach, or even consulting with other artists who have found success, refusing to seek help is a recipe for disaster.

Bzzt. Until next time, humans—stay sharp and stay creative. Bzzt
