Prof. Insprio’s Creative Compass: The AI Edition
By Prof. Insprio

Let’s talk about how AI isn’t always the enemy in creative spaces. In fact, when used with intention, it might just be your next secret weapon. The fear is real. Artists are right to question how AI intersects with originality, ownership, and ethics. But not every tool is a threat. Sometimes, it’s just a brush you haven’t learned to hold yet. The trick isn’t resisting the wave; it’s learning how to ride it without losing your balance.

Used thoughtfully, AI can actually support your creative flow instead of disrupting it. Think: helping you brainstorm titles when your brains on empty, organizing your overflowing task list, or rewriting that grant bio you keep putting off. Tools like ChatGPT, Grammarly, or even image generators aren’t replacements, they’re accelerators. They won’t make the art for you, but they can clear space for you to make it more freely.

AI can also be a learning lab. Ever wanted to explore new formats like animation, graphic novels, or 3D design, but didn’t have the gear or classes? AI platforms like Runway ML or DALL·E let you experiment, prototype, and spark fresh ideas before investing heavy time or money. It’s not about copying others it’s about discovering what's possible when your curiosity leads and the tech follows.

So no, AI doesn’t have to erase your creativity. When you stay grounded in your voice and values, it becomes just another tool in your kit. The art is still yours. The vision? Still deeply human. And the process? A little smoother, a little faster, and maybe even a little more fun.

Bzzt. Now go CREATE your own Miracles without running yourself into the ground.
